It is not advisable to go to a walk-in clinic unless absolutely necessary.  If it is unavoidable, ensure that you see the same doctor on every visit to your walk-in clinic. Your Dr. will make the referral for treatment. This may include physiotherapy, massage therapy, active rehab, acupuncture, and chiropractic and/or other targeted therapies.  For example, you may be referred to specialists in cognitive behavioural therapy, trigger point injections, vestibular therapy and concussion clinics.  It is important to follow your doctor’s treatment advice because you have a duty under law to mitigate your damages.  In layman’s terms, when it comes to treatment, you have to do your best to try to get better.
